Creating a holiday campaign always serves as a wonderful way to wrap up a year. To mark the end of 2023, we had the privileged opportunity to handle the VFX post-production of a 15-second advertisement, entirely crafted in CG animation. Our team contributed to bringing to life the The McDonald's Card holiday campaign, working closely alongside the advertising agency Cossette.
Our team brought its expertise to this campaign by employing vibrant colors, realistic textures, and breathing life into endearing characters. We envisioned an infinite zoom effect that literally immersed the audience into the enchanting world of McDonald's. Each frame unveiled festive and inviting locations, specially adorned for the holidays, offering a cascade of surprises with every viewing. The deliberately slow-moving characters aided the transition effect, reinforcing the notion of a gradual immersion into this magical "gift card" experience.
Despite the tight production schedule of three weeks, our Advertising & Experiences team triumphantly met this challenge. Their dedication and expertise ensured timely delivery of this project, thereby warming the hearts of the audience for the 2023 holiday season.
