As the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted air travel, Airlines for America (A4A) needed an agile, flexible platform that could quickly adapt on the industry’s behalf. Building on a solid foundation and a wealth of content, NJI’s goal was simple: streamline and refine the website. A4A’s legacy website was already rich with content. To organize and highlight an extensive set of data and resources, we embarked on a robust discovery phase. Our process identified key audiences and a need to clearly convey A4A’s mission and priorities. We streamlined site navigation and established an agile content hierarchy and management system to deliver rapid-response capabilities. Our aim was to create a website tailor-made for A4A’s audiences — putting accessibility at the forefront of our discovery process and creative execution. We developed an intuitive and timeless design to extend site longevity, supported by a CMS that can evolve over time with A4A and the overall airline industry.
