BerksIDA About Us

This year marks BerksIDA’s (previously BCIDA) 50th year in operation. To mark the event and increase awareness of our programs, BerksIDA was the signature sponsor of the Building Berks awards by the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA). As part of that sponsorship, the Authority planed to air a video highlighting 1) the mission, 2) past successes and 3) future endeavors.

BerksIDA builds business opportunities within Berks County by developing and selling off properties that are too challenging or expensive to be developed by the private sector, providing tax-free bonds for business development and offering bridge financing/loans for projects that may struggle to obtain traditional financing.
