Since 2004, Third Degree Communications, Inc. has provided comprehensive training programs designed to enhance the investigative skills of law enforcement, corrections and social services personnel. It’s been over 10 years since Third Degree last refreshed their website and felt that it was important to stay competitive and to make the site as user friendly for their students and training managers as possible. They also wanted to provide easy user paths for each of their three main site visitors to navigate without difficulty.

300FeetOut set out to create a refreshed brand and website that further helps reflect where the organization is now after successful growth. In order to create a modern website that better shows off TDC, we needed to start by creating a brand that represents their values, personality, and direction. We helped venture out from their current logo and mark that only supported part of its offerings, designing a completely new logo and brand expression to support their expanded offerings. Injecting a renewed sense of energy and motivation, the new mark supports their wide array of communications.

When building the website, there were many factors that needed to be kept in mind. While they wanted a new look and feel, and better site-wide navigation, Third Degree still wanted all the bells and whistles of the back-end that they were commonly used to working with: admin portal functionality, class listing updates, and a secure payment processing system.

The outcome is a new brand and website that better represents the people who make TDC the success it’s become. We simplified the forms that prospective students need to fill out, and the amount of steps it takes to enroll. Third Degree students, staff, and prospective instructors now have a website that's functional, clean, efficient, and current.
