Summer Sunshine

Concept: This 7-minute animation, presented in a motion comic format, was designed as a short film for viewing on a phone in full screen. Its primary aim was to capture the attention of the younger generation, who preferred watching short films on their cellular phone over reading traditional comic books. The underlying message conveyed in this short comic is that 'True love is about bringing happiness to the one you love.'

Plot: During a snorkeling excursion, Jenny accidentally dropped her anklet, which was later discovered by a diver named Howard. As they were chatting on the boat, Jenny revealed that the anklet held sentimental value from her late boyfriend.

Upon their return to the island, Jenny encountered local bullies on the street, and Howard intervened to protect her. After narrowly escaping the confrontation, they sought refuge on a tranquil beach. Amidst the breathtaking scenery, Howard mustered the courage to confess his feelings to Jenny, but she hesitated, still unable to forget the cherished memories of her past love.

One day, Jenny's anklet suddenly broke. While she was picking it up from the ground, she saw a stunning photograph inside with herself in it. Howard explained that the photo was taken during their initial meeting, and once again, he expressed his love for her. Finally, Jenny acknowledged her feelings for Howard too. The story concluded with a poignant focus on the broken anklet, and the last message resembled Jenny's late boyfriend bidding her farewell and sending his blessings.
