For the past 25 years, Empire Communities has helped people reimagine life, by building inspiring places to live. After slowly growing their footprint, Empire expanded into multiple regions that required a different online approach.
Empire partnered with PUREBLINK, to create a brand new space to engage with buyers and stakeholders.
The main objective was to create a website that acted as an information hub for all users, from buyers to investors to realtors and brokers, as well as business partners and those looking to have a career with Empire. We knew 70% of traffic was mobile, so our approach had to be mobile-first and the site needed to be fast.
The biggest challenge was defining an architecture and content structure that respected the vision and agenda of each sales region (and country), as well as functioning as an HR site, while being cohesive, seamless and functional.
The architecture had to be scalable—capable of feeding the site in every region, all landing pages and all sales centre apps. It needed to house a massive amount of inventory (over 1,600 listings from 5 regions, 21 sub regions and 55 high and low rise communities) and have the ability to have content added on an on-going basis.
The site would also need to house a constantly-updated collection of curated lifestyle content and home buying resource tools.
Our solution was LEGO-inspired. We created modules (think: LEGO blocks) that could easily be moved around and updated by anyone on our client’s team. The complexity of the design lies in its user-friendliness. Being able to create new sections, regions, communities or even sales centre apps, in realtime, is a game-changer for EMPIRE and has catapulted their sales capacities.
Finally, the site was designed with the latest online marketing strategies at its core. Regional online sales counsellors help along the way, while key CTAs and forms connect users to the most sophisticated marketing strategies in order to promote lead generation and conversions along the way.
