These are challenging times for Hong Kong, with the ongoing COVID-19 situation and resultant social distancing measures making it feel that little bit harder to enjoy the many great things about our city, especially when it comes to spending quality time with your closest friends.
In order to show people that there are still great activities that you can "create" with your friends at home safely like movie nights or silent discos, Creative Theory Group partnered with Bizhouse and Hysan Place to create a limited web series called "Socially Distant Saturday's".
In episode 1, we take a humorous look at how not to spend your Saturday night as we follow four friends with nothing to do but sit around eating a bowl of popcorn and drinking a few beers.
In episode 2, we see how our group of friends turn their ordinary HK rooftop into a fun and vibrant rooftop cinema, where they can enjoy a film, some Peroni and popcorn!
And finally, in episode 3 we see how our group of friends turn their apartment into a fun and vibrant silent disco with the help of a turntable, a projector, some Peroni's and their unique dance moves!
Socially Distant Saturday's was launched as an initial idea starter and has grown into a social campaign where others can share their ideas and collaborate on safe but fun ideas they can enjoy to together.
