Power Digital Marketing’s Website Redesign
The Challenge: Power Digital Marketing’s website was in dire need of a redesign. From the look and feel to the cluttered way it was built in the backend, it just didn’t make sense for a forward-thinking agency to have an outdated and disorganized website. This was the big endeavor for Power Digital’s team at the start of 2018 -- how could we build a website that not only expressed PDM’s culture and values, while still maintaining best practices for a conversion-oriented website and a user-friendly experience.
The Strategy: At the start of the year, PDM’s design and development team huddled with the bright minds of their marketing team and leaders to strategize how to tackle the new site. It was important that both the design/dev and marketing teams collaborated throughout the duration of the project, from sitemap to launch, in order to stay aligned on our goals.In trying to create a conversion-oriented website, the marketing team provided valuable insight as to what works and what doesn’t, and it was up to the design and development team on how to best translate that into an optimal and aesthetically-pleasing user experience. In the end, the PDM team ultimately accomplished that -- we built a website that spoke true to PDM’s values of innovation and collaboration.
