Homura Hime

Homura Hime is the result of an eight-year journey by a small Indie team determined to create the action game we always dreamed of making. What began as a student project in 2018 gradually evolved through countless prototypes, setbacks, and complete redesigns before finally becoming the game we envisioned.

Throughout development, we learned that perseverance mattered more than following our original plans. At one point, we chose to discard years of work and rebuild the game's core combat system from scratch. It was a difficult decision, but one that ultimately allowed Homura Hime to find its own identity.

The game follows Homura Hime, a young exorcist, and her companion An as they battle monsters born from lingering emotions and regrets. Beneath its fast-paced action lies a story about accepting pain, facing difficult choices, and continuing to move forward despite adversity. In many ways, that message reflects our own journey as developers.

We are incredibly honored to receive this recognition. As a small team, seeing Homura Hime reach players around the world is more than we ever imagined when this project first began. This achievement belongs not only to our team, but also to everyone who believed in us along the way.
