About The Entry
"AI platform" is a phrase audiences hear constantly and trust rarely. When Pattern set out to introduce Pi — its AI-native ecommerce platform — to ecommerce professionals who've heard every pitch, the challenge wasn't what to say. It was what to show. The result was a 90-second video combining camera footage, text overlays, and live screen mockups. Pi operates 81 active sensors 24/7, automatically resolves 23+ issue types before they hit a brand's P&L, and powers marketplace intelligence through 66T+ data points. None of that lands by being listed. The strategy was to show the system working. Screen mockups were central to that approach. Rather than describing what Pi surfaces, the video demonstrated it: the Daily Brief delivering overnight resolutions before the workday begins, the Activity Center logging every automated action with a timestamp, Chat-to-Data answering complex marketplace questions in real time. The UI wasn't decoration — it was evidence. Camera footage kept the human layer present. Pi runs 24/7, but on behalf of real people managing real brands. The footage ensured the platform felt like a partner, not a black box. The video succeeded in its primary goal: making autonomous marketplace execution real for an audience that had never seen it before. Autonomous Marketplace Execution is a new category. Introducing it in 90 seconds requires the right mix of proof and clarity. This video delivered both.
