WAVING CUBE Oriental Science Fiction Pavilion takes Oriental science fiction as its central theme and reinterprets future narratives through a Chinese perspective. The architecture resembles a mysterious spacecraft from an unknown civilization, quietly suspended beside the water. Its layered ripple-like form conveys a sense of endless growth and creates a powerful futuristic presence. The project deliberately softens the boundary between interior and exterior spaces. Curved surfaces and open spatial connections shape an immersive environment with a surreal atmosphere, allowing visitors to step directly into a world that exists between reality and imagination.

The project adopts an operation-oriented planning strategy that integrates exhibition spaces, themed retail, and public activities into a comprehensive science fiction cultural destination. Through collaborations with institutions such as Three Body Universe and Future Affairs Administration, the pavilion establishes a content ecosystem that connects technology, art, culture, and commerce. At the same time, it incorporates local innovation industries and public science education resources to cultivate a sustainable science fiction community. Beyond the exhibition areas, the project introduces future mobility, future healthcare, future fashion, and future dining experiences. Brand showrooms and conceptual retail spaces together present a futuristic lifestyle to the public.

It is not only a destination for science fiction enthusiasts, but also an open cultural space for the public to explore future possibilities. The surrounding green areas and public plazas support a wide range of outdoor activities, including drone performances, science fiction screenings, themed markets, and summer camps. These programs transform the site into a continuously evolving urban cultural venue. Rooted in Oriental science fiction narratives, the pavilion introduces the internationally recognized Three Body intellectual property and connects it with China's frontier technologies and major scientific achievements. The result is an immersive exhibition system that combines science education, cultural communication, and future imagination.

The architecture follows the core concept of ecological priority and technological coexistence, emphasizing harmony between the building and its natural surroundings. Its form resembles green hills and floating clouds emerging from the lakeside landscape, naturally blending into the nearby water and greenery.
