Encontech B.V. is a spin-off of the University of Twente, founded in 2005

Our focus is on externally heated engines and compression chemical reactors.

With over 20 years of R&D, we’ve developed the innovative Isobaric Expansion technology, solving the cost issue of low temperature heat engines (ORC; thermoelectric, etc.), and a groundbreaking chemical reactor concept — the pulsed compression chemical reactors. Our expertise lies in the fusion of engineering skills and scientific knowledge, positioning us as leaders in heat-to-mechanical energy conversion.
