Let's build a taco! - Taco Builder

In collaboration with Rusty Taco (formerly of the Inspire Brands restaurant group) and The Select Group, Evolve Solutions Group produced Taco Builder, an on-demand, mobile-friendly recipe building simulation which provides an environment visually mimicking the actual product assembly line, where team members can learn recipes and portions to hone their taco building skills. Learners select a taco from the menu and simulate every step in the taco building process on the make line.

Using custom photography from the restaurant environment, careful process mapping and recipe documentation to appropriately translate physical actions into mouse-click or touch-screen digital interactions, this custom simulation provides just-in-time product assembly practice to restaurant team members in a digital simulation of their work environment.

Team members required on-demand taco building practice for all taco recipes, which they could quickly finish to support the restaurant operations in peak times and return to during slower times. Using a simulated environment for recipe training helps Rusty Taco increase manager availability for operations by reducing hip-to-hip training time, increase profit through decreased waste, and increase customer satisfaction through reducing incorrect orders.
