In keeping the community informed and engaged between long development update cycles for the game “Ready or Not”, we took over in crafting their monthly newsletter, which gives a great deal of transparency to its players and fans on the development of the game in an entertaining and easy-to-digest format.
With 46 newsletters written in the last 12 months, volume #45 of this newsletter series was a “Year in Review” and took this series’ success to new heights. It boasted 4,473,646 unique impressions, 212,887 views, and 2334 upvotes on the Steam platform. For context this is over 50% above our average impressions. We also distributed this to our client’s email marketing database of roughly 36k subscribers, and its unique open rate was 38.02%. This particular newsletter featured some fan-made content from contests that we hosted in 2022, as well as highlighting all the milestones, additions and changes to the game throughout the year.
Every single volume throughout the year has garnered at least 2 million impressions and over 150k views and has been growing consistently. Our responsibility in this newsletter included:
Crafting all visual assets with our in-house graphics design team
Our marketing manager was responsible for preparing the plan and strategy
Our community management team prepares the text and distributed them on Steam, Reddit, Discord, and to the email list.
Our social media manager distributed the content to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
