The Toyota EduTalks campaign, executed by IZEA, was directed at producing content that was not only entertaining, but educational. Utilizing four entirely different athletically-gifted influencers on the California coast, the Toyota Tundra was put to the test traveling challenging terrain while giving the audience a quick lesson on surfing, hiking, fishing and kayaking.
Understanding that learning how to surf or kayak can be challenging and a 60 second video won’t make most an expert, the content focused on small tips that would aid the audience in achieving a new skill, while also showcasing how the Toyota Tundra can get you there in comfort and style.
This multi-day activation included a full production crew to help capture some of the more logistically difficult aspects of production, allowing the influencers to take center stage and focus on teaching the individual skills that earned them a passionate following. IZEA was able to lead execution of this complex endeavor from influencer selection all the way through the production and content posting. The campaign was a success for Toyota and IZEA as it merged a standard production with an influencer activation leading to a myriad of usable assets for the brand and organic brand placement within influencer led content on social media channels.
