Our team at NEXT/NOW partnered with the Chicago Cubs to create an engaging online experience for their new virtual launch event of Statue Row. At Wrigley Field, the sculptures at Statue Row memorialize the careers of some of the Chicago Cubs' most influential players. Our team at NEXT/NOW created a discoverable hidden layer of content near the statues with this immersive web experience that amplifies each player's storied legacy. Our software development team anchored programming in react-three-fiber, bringing the art team's custom 3D modeling and intuitive visual design system to life. Through our close collaboration with the Cubs, we were able to tell the story of these immortalized athletes, presenting a user-friendly and unique way for fans to engage with the statues, photos, videos, and historical artifacts.
