Northern Plains Rail Services (NPRS) is a professional service company providing clients throughout the United States and Canada with exceptional railroad services in addition to operating their own 350-mile railroad. For over 25 years, NPRS has honed their extensive knowledge and skill in the railroading industry to provide a wide variety of services including conceptual rail design, industrial switching, locomotive inspection and maintenance, rail car service and repair, track design, construction, and maintenance, as well as renowned rail safety training and consulting.

After putting their hearts and souls into the work they’ve done to become an industry-leading company, we wanted to build them a redesigned website that lived up to the Northern Plains name. With bold design elements, interactive and engaging features, and captivating photography, this new website build emulates the trustworthy, skillful and innovative services that NPRS is known for. Big, bold, beautiful and intelligent – these were the words at the forefront of our creative team’s minds when putting together the roadmap of what this new website should evoke to capture the essence of the railroad industry and the hardworking people behind it. Using a mixture of interesting still imagery and video for heightened visual interest, in combination with the color palette NPRS is known for throughout, the end result is an engaging, attractive and user-friendly website that puts as much priority on SEO and ROI as it does on providing an astoundingly beautiful first impression.
