This project aimed to rebrand a century-old Italian delicatessen in San Francisco, where Molinari has seen the city change with its most authentic Italian flavors.
The designer's goal was to re-research and reposition the original brand and sketch and brand the design and packaging to be low cost, replicable, and catching the eye in a short period.
The logo was redesigned from the original, and the designer chose red-pink and blue as the brand colors to preserve the brand's history. At the same time, the designer created a simple, repetitive geometric pattern as the store's signature motif that could be used as wrapping paper and bread paper. In addition, the designer made a series of packagings, such as pizza, raw walnuts, and beef wraps, to complete the brand image of Molinari's deli and show the wide use of brand colors and patterns.
