After 8 weeks of the UK's first lockdown due to COVID, we felt compelled to create a film to support and champion our region in this time of crisis. In collaboration with Culture Central and Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022, we wanted to shine a much needed spotlight on our venues, museums, theatres, festivals, restaurants and pubs.
That reminded people about the thousands of independent businesses that are the lifeblood of the Midlands. And that, as people of immense heart and spirit, they will come back stronger, together.
The campaign was a huge success, viewed over 250,000 times by the people we made it for, along with responses from ex-pats across the world, wishing their own region the best during the difficult times.
