Honoring the Life and Legacy of Our Fallen Hero

Broward County Sheriff's Deputy Shannon Bennett of Deerfield Beach, Florida, died April 3 from COVID-19, the first coronavirus-related death of a law enforcement officer in a state that has only recently begun to grapple with the global pandemic. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no public memorial could be held. This video of Deputy Bennet's End of Watch Ceremony was produced so the community could be a part of saying goodbye virtually.
