Swig Life, a well-known insulated drinkware lifestyle brand, wanted to increase B2C sales as 75% of their revenue came from B2B. The majority of their organic traffic was coming from branded searches since they had fairly strong brand awareness, but they wanted to see an increase in non-branded traffic and new customers. Perfect Search initially focused in on fixing any technical errors on the site. This included a comprehensive review of the XML sitemap and robots.txt, creation of new schema markup on the homepage, disavowing spammy backlinks, and implementing redirects for 404ing pages. PSM began working on improving Swig Life’s content strategy, by writing optimized copy blocks for all category pages and the homepage, providing monthly blog topics with keyword research, writing 3 blog posts each month, and working through optimizing all product descriptions on the site. Perfect Search has continued to provide meta data optimizations for all pages on the site – with just over 100 pages completed to date. PSM has also provided consistent reporting on performance, as well as insights into competitors’ strategies to pinpoint market blind spots that Swig Life could capture. As a result of our efforts, Swig Life saw a 470.4% increase in organic transactions and a 348.9% increase in organic revenue.
