Scenesaver https://www.scenesaver.co.uk/ is a free to use website, launched during lockdown, to do something positive to help the theatre world, to support and incentivise creative, to provide theatre goers with their fix of theatre during the pandemic and to make the work in smaller venues accessible to all. Scenesaver is a unique website showcasing the performances in off broadway, offwestend and little theatres across the world. For the first time ever there is one site where users can view all the diverse work being created all over the world whether it be drama, comedy, dance, magic, fringe. The site provides a potential revenue stream for creatives, (users are asked to pay a virtual ticket price donation and this money goes to the performers); is the host site for, and showcases the talents of artistes and their work to new audiences worldwide, to people who would never normally have the opportunity to see this work. When theatres re-open Scenesaver will continue to show work to ensure that the people who have previously been deprived of the opportunity to see fantastic innovative, cutting edge performance, whether it be for reasons of disability, finance, work commitments, childcare or. Scenesaver brings performance into the homes of the people who cannot go out to access it themselves. Scenesaver provides children with a wonderful introduction to theatre. We have work in all genres and many languages and audio described footage for people with sight problems, subtitled work for the hearing impaired, we have signed performances for children. Scenesaver is a wonderful educational resource for drama students across the world. Scenesaver launched in May in London and are now global in the UK, USA, South Africa, Australia, the Middle East, South America. We have 250+ performances and our Press and About us pages tell our story. We are just three women, one of whom is registered disabled, and our success has come by dint of sheer hard work, passion and dedication.
