LolaGrove is a lead generation and suppression management platform for marketing professionals. Our scope in this project was to redesign the platform to make it user friendly and increase the users. We followed a comprehensive design process to understand the existing system and to create a design ensuring the achievement of project and business goals.
We began by conducting heuristics evaluation of the portal, which helped us identify issues and areas of improvement. We conducted in –depth workshop with business stakeholders and users to derive holistic understanding of the system and ecology. From our initial research, we found issues in behavior and visual nature of the portal. We used system thinking and charted out strategies to improve the experience for the portal.
We further used our expertise in information design to create a fresh portal by re-structuring existing information. The form filling experience was enhanced by following consistent UI and helping users identify & rectify errors in a better way. We used our interaction design expertise to create intuitive information flows by considering task flows ensuring that the behavioral part of interface was delightful.
We looked into first time user experience of portal and created an engaging on-boarding experience by providing overview of tasks that the user can perform once they login to the portal. We made it enjoyable and refreshing by recreating visual styles using the brand color that made the interface modern.
Custom illustrations were created for empty states to inform users about the actions that can be performed. A detailed visual style guide consisting of typography, icons, illustrations was diligently created in-house by following the LolaGrove color palette. Each part of the portal was handcrafted from icons to interface such that it delivered a consistent and beautiful experience.
Finally, in order to validate our design, a usability test was conducted with the users to understand if there are any gaps in the experience. The observations were incorporated in the final design to create a seamless experience for the user.
