WIngs of Asia - The Beauty of Birds

This video introduces the viewer to one of Zoo Miami's premiere exhibits. It is a window into the day of the life of the birds that live in the "Wings of Asia" aviary at Zoo Miami using nothing but natural sounds and relaxing music. It begins with the sunrise and the awakening of the birds, following them through the day as they preen, feed and court, and then finally watching them go to sleep as the sun sets. The challenge was to capture on video each of the over 75 species of birds that live there, behaving naturally as they would in the wild. The goal is to foster a greater appreciation for birds and hopefully inspire a desire to protect them.
