"The Spiritual Realm of Dunhuang" - an immersive exhibition created by Blackbow for Tencent TGC Digital Cultural and Creative Festival. Guided by the Tencent's "Neo-Culture Creativity" strategy, the 2019 TGC Tencent Digital Cultural and Creative Festival is a large-scale digital cultural event that centered around digital technology.

Collaborating with well-known Chinese mobile game "Honor of Kings", "The Spiritual Realm of Dunhuang" immersive exhibition features the unique character skin "Dunhuang Apsaras" for the hero "Yang Yuhuan" that recreates the paradise scene of "Feitian" in the frescoes of Mogao Grottoes, It is said that the scene is so heavenly that all the music instruments start to sing itself. In the exhibition Blackbow bring the beauty of the fantastic artistic conception in Dunhuang frescoes to the public with cutting-edge technology.

The 100m2 exhibition space are immersed with LED panels , which the total resolution reaches 14784*1152, covering the entire wall, ceiling and floor area, with a LED column in the center it creates a 360° immersive digital interactive experience. The show are total 12 minutes long, divided in to three chapters: "Wisdom Tips", "Dunhuang's Poetry Kerchief " and "Flying Goddess". With each chapter provide different interactive elements and immersive visual experience, it gives people a chance to be in the magical world of Dunhuang.

In the process of creating "The Spiritual Realm of Dunhuang" exhibition, Blackbow is in constant search for balance between art and technology, adapting the traditional Chinese culture with the most cutting-edge contemporary technology. As well as bringing people closer to technology with visual artistic composition , it also shine new light on ways to bring traditional culture to the public with a contemporary twist. For the purpose of the inheritance of Chinese traditional culture, it is important to integrate what we do with the core of traditional culture in a contemporary manner, in ways that will be well received by the young generations.
