Production Design is, simply, everything in front of a lens, digital or physical - and is also often hugely underestimated and under-appreciated. All forms of production design begin from nothing: blank sets, empty notebooks, bare sketchpads. Filling the emptiness requires a huge number of decisions, to communicating millions of visual cues... and create something golden.
