La Route des vins de Brome-Missisquoi is one of Québec’s most iconic wine tourism destinations, uniting 25 vineyards and numerous partner businesses across a vibrant region. However, its previous website, built over a decade ago, had become a limitation rather than an asset. Slow performance, poor mobile adaptability and technical constraints were negatively impacting user experience and undermining the credibility of the destination. Standish was mandated to lead a complete digital transformation. The objective was clear: create a modern, high-performance platform that reflects the quality and emblematic character of the Route while making discovery seamless, intuitive and inspiring. At the core of the new experience is a custom-built interactive map developed by Standish and connected directly to the organization’s CRM. This integration enables attractions to display real-time operational status, allowing visitors to instantly see whether a vineyard or partner business is open or closed. Users can filter by category, explore the territory visually and access reliable, up-to-date information. To further empower travelers, Standish designed a personalized itinerary builder. Visitors can select attractions and generate a custom route tailored to their interests, then share their itinerary effortlessly. This transforms the website from a passive information hub into an active trip planning tool. Built with a strong focus on usability, speed and mobile optimization, the platform delivers a fluid, purpose-driven experience across devices. Following launch, average session duration increased by 33,5 %, confirming stronger engagement and a richer digital journey. A refreshed brand identity, immersive photography and refined editorial direction complete the transformation, capturing the spirit and prestige of Brome-Missisquoi. By combining technical innovation, real-time interactivity and compelling storytelling, Standish has redefined how destinations are discovered, planned and experienced online, setting a new benchmark for digital excellence in tourism.
