Basis Technologies needed a compelling way to reach agency leaders overwhelmed by fragmented tools, manual processes, and constant campaign pressure. Their goal was to demonstrate that running an ad agency doesn’t have to be chaotic and that an AI-powered operational platform can bring clarity, efficiency, and connection back to the work. space. Beyond elevating awareness, Basis aimed to increase inbound interest and reinforce its position as a leading operational hub in the ad-tech ecosystem.
We built a strategy around contrast by visually showcasing the stress of outdated workflows against the ease and control Basis provides. Nostalgic, 60s-inspired imagery represented old habits and scattered processes, while crisp, modern visuals brought the benefits of automation and unified workflows to life. This contrast made the transformation immediate and emotional, connecting the pain points agencies feel with the relief Basis delivers.
The creative concept centered around a cinematic “before and after” narrative. Retro office scenes symbolized clutter, silos, and constant urgency. The modern look of clean lines, intentional pacing, and a calm, confident tone revealed how Basis supports the humans behind the work. The theme reinforced a simple, human truth: agencies do their best work when operations empower creativity rather than draining it.
Live-action performances were blended with stylized art direction and polished motion graphics to amplify the contrast between chaos and clarity. Every production choice, from pacing, set design, transitions, and color, reinforced Basis’s core value proposition of automation, connected workflows, and the freedom to step away without losing control.
The campaign helped reposition Basis Technologies as a modern, human-centered operational hub. It drove stronger engagement across B2B channels, increased inbound leads, and elevated brand visibility among agency decision-makers. As Basis shared: “Coming out of our year-long campaign, Basis drove 90% engagement with our target list… and while lead generation wasn’t the core goal, we also saw a year-over-year lift in inbound leads.” This confirms that top-of-funnel brand storytelling had a measurable impact on both awareness and lower-funnel performance.
