Awaken 8 is an independent cinematic RPG created solely by Linda Heartily Nguyen, a solo developer and visual storyteller who began the project in April 2025.

Set between the neon streets of Virex City and the emotional realm of Mythfall, Awaken 8 explores grief, memory, and the hidden power of human connection in a world where emotions are forbidden. Every frame every spark of light, reflection, and expression was hand-composed by one creator working alone, blending 3D anime-realism with film-level atmosphere. Built through a custom art and compositing pipeline, Awaken 8 bridges the line between game and cinema using light, color, and sound as emotional language.
