Edmond de Rothschild, a French multinational bank and asset manager, required a digital transformation to align its global strategy with regional needs while enhancing user experience and localisation across their digital estate. The project involved creating a standalone Asset Management (AM) website for 12 regions and then overhauling the corporate site that focuses on broader group services (Private Banking, Sustainability, and more). The transformation required multi-lingual support for 6 languages, tailored user pathways, and marketing autonomy – across over 40 websites in total. Embrace designed and built both primary estates on Umbraco CMS, leveraging its robust security and scalable, modular architecture to streamline development and ensure flexibility in future. The AM site features audience-specific pathways for Institutional Investors and Intermediaries, and the corporate site reuses design elements to maintain brand consistency. Rigorous security measures, including Microsoft Azure and Cloudflare, ensure enterprise-grade protection. Umbraco Workflow provides improvements to digital operations and publishing, Umbraco Engage allows for real-time content personalisation and analytics, and Google Analytics provides additional valuable audience insights. The user-centric digital transformation has resulted in enhanced website experiences for all markets and has enabled impressive increases to visitors, user engagement, and search discoverability through localised content. Additionally, the transformation achieved further objectives by streamlining digital operations, enhancing personalisation, and providing reusable modules for the future, all while seamlessly integrating the group’s new brand identity. The transformation successfully enabled Edmond de Rothschild to meet diverse regional markets and audience needs, while driving significant global business growth across both digital estates.
