Why are some fries and tenders crispier, tastier, and more deliciously golden than others? Pitco, a leading commercial fryolator company that has innovated electric and gas deep fryer technology since 1918, knows that achieving that caliber of fried food requires clean oil, even cooking, and consistent temps. In 2024, Pitco released a revolutionary new fryer, TorQ, that does all three – and more. TorQ combines forced convection heating and continuous in-line filtration to not only reduce oil waste, costs, labor, and maintenance time, but also cook the food faster while improving its overall quality.
Fishnet produced a launch video to generate buzz around this first-of-its-kind fryer technology and create some eye candy (fry candy?) at the National Restaurant Association’s 2024 show. Given the busy event atmosphere, we opted for a looping display video with no voiceover. Because few people (presumably) are inclined to admire a fryolator for being cutting-edge or tech-forward, we used a modern aesthetic to highlight TorQ’s innovative features and set Pitco apart from what is a largely dated industry. 3D product animations and informational graphics tell a compelling visual story of how far fryolator technology has come and the possibilities for restauranteurs, with TorQ, to give their customers the fried food of their dreams.
