Granite’s redesign of the Gibson Hotel website aimed to create a dynamic, modern digital experience reflecting the hotel’s vibrant brand. The primary goal was to simplify user journeys while showcasing the hotel’s spacious, inviting atmosphere and extensive meetings & events offerings. With a focus on inclusivity and modernity, the website attracts a broad audience, from concert-goers aged 25-35 to older demographics, with tailored content and intuitive navigation that supports higher engagement and increased bookings.
The design integrates bold visuals, minimalistic layouts, and interactive components, all aligned with the Gibson Hotel’s contemporary brand identity. Vibrant photography and user-friendly features highlight the hotel’s open, playful spaces, while emphasizing key offerings like meeting and event venues. Accessibility is at the core of the design, with WCAG-compliant color contrasts, screen reader compatibility, and text scalability, ensuring a positive experience for all users, regardless of their needs.
Built on a composable architecture using headless Strapi CMS and Next.js, the website follows MACH methodologies, enhancing performance, scalability, and security. Deployed on AWS with cloud strategies and Cloudflare ZeroTrust, the site boasts fast load times, resilience, and advanced threat protection. The use of AI-driven digital asset management, static site technology, and multi-language support ensures seamless functionality while optimizing sustainability by reducing server load and consumption. A robust booking engine further streamlines the user journey, supporting the hotel’s growth strategy.
SEO best practices, including targeted keywords and local SEO, were implemented to ensure high discoverability. The site achieves a 100% SEO score, with optimized load times and a high-quality user experience. Enhanced analytics integration provides valuable insights, allowing the hotel to refine its engagement strategies based on real-time data.
Inclusivity remains a key focus, with the site achieving an impressive 83% accessibility score, multi-language support, and mobile responsiveness, ensuring an equitable experience across all devices.
