Introduction and goals
Roca Group is a global company specialised in the bathroom space. The company is present in more than 170 markets supplied by its 79 production plants and more than 19,700 employees.
The purpose of Roca Group's annual report has evolved in recent years, as the result of a bigger focus on sustainability. The main objectives of the 2023 edition of the Roca Group's Annual Report were:
• To highlight the Group's sustainability strategy
• To showcase the main milestones and indicators of the Group’s activity, framing them within the three axes of the sustainability strategy;
• To give continuity to the company's historical commitment to transparency and communication with its stakeholders (with a special focus on shareholders, workforce and partner institutions).
Structure
For the first time, Roca Group is presenting the last financial year’s activity in an integrated report format. This document describes the group’s main performance milestones in 2023, structured around the three areas defining its commitment to creating a positive impact: People, Planet and Prosperity.
The new content structure implies an adaptation of the design, based on a very flexible layout which prioritizes the clear and direct presentation of information throughout the report – with a special focus on visual content such as images and infographics.
It should be noted that increased relevance was given to the digital version of the report, which presents the content and visual elements of the report in an interactive format. On the one hand, the current context demands a quick and easy way to share content with all audiences. On the other, there is a willingness to develop the format so as to reduce the environmental impact associated with printing and distribution.
Receiving excellent feedback from senior management, the report was successfully presented and distributed to main stakeholders of Roca Group: shareholders; managers; government, institutions, associations – nationwide and locally; prescribers (architects, graphic and interior designers); clients (main customers around the world); main economic and business media in the key countries where the company is present.
