Tasked with highlighting the engineering power of the Aston Martin DBX707, we challenged ourselves to go beyond traditional automotive showcases. Our approach was to create a narrative that revealed the sophisticated mechanics beneath its elegant exterior, expressed through a collection of seven distinct CGI films, culminating in a hero film that captured the spirit of the car. The narrative required careful digital reconstruction of the DBX707's complex components - and here we faced a major technical challenge, in that we didn't have the actual 3D models of many key parts. To overcome this, we relied on extensive research, our own experience, and photographs provided by Aston Martin to digitally recreate these components with high accuracy and detail.
The creative journey, which took place from March to October 2022, was a precise act of visual storytelling, with each short film highlighting a specific technological feature of the DBX707 and painting a comprehensive picture of its engineering achievements. This initiative was not simply about showcasing a car parts, but telling the story of Aston Martin's evolution into an icon of ultra-luxury and innovation that resonates with a younger audience while maintaining the restraint, elegance, and classic nature of the Aston Martin brand. To achieve this we combined the hyper-realistic polished renders with hundreds of concepts from talented artists. These concepts appeared for only a fraction of a second, leaving an impression without fully revealing themselves.
Through this campaign, we have tried to leave an unforgettable mark on audiences' minds, elevating the DBX707 to the pinnacle of luxury SUVs, a true example of engineering mastery and aesthetic excellence.
