The Superior Group

The Superior Group, based in Columbus, Ohio, stands as a national leader in electrical construction, engineering, and technology services. This dynamic company handles a wide range of projects, from large-scale megasites to rapid turnarounds, ensuring power and connectivity across diverse project scopes.

When taking this project, the client expressed that their current branding and digital landscape did not support their incredible, astonishing achievements nor embodied their internal culture.

Based on the Superior Group’s initial interview, we knew we had to create something unique. The primary objective from an image perspective was to showcase their exceptional projects and have visuals positioned on the site as if you were walking through an art show. Venturing to the projects page and individual products, you will feel like you are in a clean, modern, sophisticated art show.

The previous website needed to be more varied and capture the brand’s uniqueness. To embody their brand and internal culture, we decided to embrace circular design elements along the more personal section of the website. For example, if you explore their careers page, you’ll see the hero photo has circles radiating from the image to symbolize growth, leadership, and innovation. If you scroll down the page, you’ll see a cluster of photos showing that they are all about their team and being a family.

Orange is a tricky color to work with, and we saw this as a creative change and embraced it from orange gradients over photos to thin orange lines. Envolving orange as the primary pallet makes them feel authentic to their brand values.

Furthering the client’s vision, the footer needed to be the final sign-off for their prospects and potential hires. This section is clean, minimalistic, and impactful, highlighting creativity, Dependability, Humility, integrity, and Tenacity.

Their website is highly effective, clean, minimalistic, and modern. The site architecture is straightforward to navigate. Every back-end function allows the client to upload images, videos, etc. easily, and the asset will adhere to the front-end presentation. Taking out all of the hard work for the client.
