This docuseries for 210 Bloor Street West captures the vision and planning process for this future icon of the Toronto skyline. These full and half-floor estate residences, built by Tribute Communities, offer protected views of the downtown core. Located in Toronto’s trendy Yorkville neighbourhood, this will be a legacy project for the company, according to Tribute’s founder and president, Al Libfeld.
Babak Eslahjou, Principal of Core Architects, explains the site’s unique opportunity, using diagonal edging that wrapped the building with triangular glass panels of different sizes. George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, world-renowned designers at Yabu Pushelberg, speak about the relationship with nature and how the building’s exteriors reflect light’s down to the street through beautiful prisms. The integrity of the materials takes this project to a new level of luxury, with bespoke items designed specifically for these residences by Yabu Pushelberg that are not available anywhere else. They chose this project specifically because of the vision of Tribute Communities and they felt that this was a perfect opportunity to return to the city in which they built their reputation.
From the façade to the experience entering the building, every detail has been considered to cater to a specific set of residents, according to broker Kevin Crigger. Yorkville is a cultural destination, with museums and the Royal Conservatory of Music located steps from 210 Bloor’s front door, as well as fashion, high-end cuisine, and all the conveniences of downtown life.
210 Bloor is a unique elevated experience.
