To launch a new gameplay experience and expansion packs for The Sims 4, EA's creative team partnered with Alkemy X to make a real-life version of The Sims in a whimsical campaign that playfully suggests people try on new identities, and "find yourselves". Starring singer/songwriter, artist, and internet personality Mxmtoon, the spots see her exploring new personalities including a Victorian ghost, a painter, a bodybuilder, and a toddler all with the help of our visual effects.
By using four body doubles, we created unique Sims characters of our star, MXMTOON with head replacement. This allowed us to turn her into a toddler, a bodybuilder, and a ghost. We also shot multiple plates of each scene to allow us to comp in our ghost character, and all characters were comped using a green screen.
