SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory

SLAC is a lab operating out of Stanford University, who "invent scientific tools to explore the universe at its biggest, its smallest and its fastest." Their site was due for a D9 upgrade and a design update. The SLAC communications and design team spent a year dedicated to designing their new site, which they handed over to Forum One with full mockups for development.

Forum One's FED and Design team started by breaking down the client's detailed and comprehensive designs, into a component-based approach. We made recommendations and collaborated with the SLAC team to create designs that were more efficient. The Development team then got to work on the site, built on Gesso 5 for Drupal with Storybook.
