Forum One started working with the National Rural Health Resource Center (The Center) to update their D7 website and refresh their branding. Some of their goals included improving health care by sustaining and growing leadership in rural communities, reaching diverse audiences, transforming the narrative to encourage deep engagement, facilitating seamless connections between clients and The Center through consulting services, and developing intuitive navigation and search filters for equitable access to resources. We also wanted to help The Center team more effectively deliver their content, including a visually engaging and scalable design system, an impactful narrative that amplifies consulting services and increases funding, an easy and flexible back-end user experience with the Drupal CMS, and an instinctive system of resources that reduces requests for existing resources.
Through audience research, landscape analysis, and collaborative workshops, we found The Center’s new voice, positioning them as leaders in the rural health care space who can provide resources, collaboration, and guidance to the communities they serve. Along with the new voice came a new logo and design system, and a beautifully updated website design. In addition to the visual updates, we also built a website that delivers The Center’s wealth of knowledge to their users more intuitively and improved the admin experience for their team.
