Link My Pet is a smart dog collar that can do everything from tracking your dog’s activity to pinpointing their location. As the company entered a new phase, they tapped Mod Op to help with a brand refresh and a new website.
As we worked to bring Link into the next chapter of their evolution, we needed to streamline a website experience that was previously dispersed across Shopify, HubSpot and Umbraco, turning it into a single Shopify website experience that would drive conversion. We also needed to envision ways for the brand to stand out in an extremely crowded pet product market.
We started by identifying areas of improvement for SEO and general user behavior, then designed and planned out different UX/UI components that would result in SEO benefits for Link My Pet. Once all components were designed, we developed them and migrated their blog in HubSpot and their marketing pages in Umbraco, to the new components we had designed and built in Shopify. Mod Op also rebranded their Link My Pet’s story, tagline, colors, typography, photography, tone of voice and design language across the board, creating a fresh and ownable look and feel.
A seamlessly unified new site means that users never notice they’re leaving HubSpot or Umbraco to go into Shopify. Improvements to the site’s backend have given the client huge ROI when it comes to admin for authoring and updates.
