SoCalGas Inspect and Troubleshoot Spring Operated Regulators

Students can struggle to understand concepts and procedures taught in traditional eLearning and classrooms alone. It is usually when the students get hands on training that they truly master the tasks and acquire the skills necessary to succeed. In Partnership with SoCalGas, CraneMorley created this guide, which walks new users through how to inspect and troubleshoot a spring operated regulator. The training is broken down into three different scenarios and students are taught how to inspect, diagnose, and fix each issue. Second phase of this project will be a full-scale hologram copy or digital twin version when trainees do not have access to the equipment, or they are in tight space and use of the regulators is not possible.
