HP is committed to reducing single-use plastics in products, and has created a sustainable supply chain to use reclaimed ocean-bound plastics.

The Renew Sleeve represents elegant sustainability with purpose. HP wove visual minimalism from thread made of recycled plastic bottles into a thin and light sleeve that is zipper-less, thanks to an internal magnetic closure. It is knit to fit the laptop it protects. Knitting to fit the computer reduces postproduction waste. In order to make a product from water bottles, HP had to create a supply chain to supply quality post-consumer recycled water bottles into production. So far, 716,000 bottles have been used to make products instead of causing harm to the environment. Using plastic bottles from landfills helps our planet by reusing waste and reduce pollution caused by incineration, which release toxic particles into air, water and land.
