iPantry is a newly created business that emerged primarily due to the onset of Covid-19 in Melbourne, towards the start of 2020. iPantry's idea was simple: transform the existing wholesale business into a B2C offering that could beat competitors when it comes to price and convenience. Initially, we wanted to target users who were looking to complete their weekly grocery shops online, using Google's search network. This strategy worked, but we soon discovered a huge opportunity when it came to Google's SMART Shopping campaigns. iPantry stocks many well-known brands, at prices that are often 5-10% less than the competition, with shorter delivery times. We were able to capture and convert the demand for these highly sought after products, into sales at a cost-efficient rate. Google Shopping has been a primary driver behind the new customer acquisition component of iPantry's marketing strategy. This forward-thinking strategy relied heavily on smart bidding and SMART Shopping campaigns. The growth that iPantry has experienced since the beginning of April has been well over 1000%, and Google Shopping with Spicy Web's help was a big driver behind this.
