A little box that does big things
Fempowered is a sustainable, monthly period products subscription service that’s all about female empowerment. 100% of their profits go to WaterAid, supporting women and girls around the world to have their periods safely and with dignity. They approached us to work with them to fix the bugs they were having with their current subscription service, redesigning the journey and adding gifting and one off products to their offer.
We created animated assets for them, as well as implemented moving dots on different background sections to add a nice animation, subtly evolving their brand onto the interface. We also pushed to improve the user’s experience and create a subscription flow that felt smooth and intuitive. This included working closely with our partners at Recharge, to rewrite the code that will allow Fempowered’s customers to add more than one box to their basket.
The added features and improved messaging allowed Fempowered to market their products with a functioning website to redirect to. Working with their team and for such an influential company was great, and we loved translating the complex features from the backend into a simple interface, for everything to tie together nicely with their brand, offer and message.
